To kick off London Beer Week, TWE want to show you some of their favourite brews and styles.

The Whisky Exchange Covent Garden, 2 Bedford Street, London, WC2E 9HH

The Whisky Exchange has an un-beer-lievable selection of craft beers brewed in London.
To kick off London Beer Week, we want to show you some of our favourite brews and styles. From crisp lagers to tart sours and hoppy IPAs to chocolatey stouts, beer is one of the most diverse and wide-ranging drinks in the world, and the craft breweries of London have brought the best global styles to the city.

Long-time Whisky Exchange inmate and bonafide beer geek Billy Abbott has tried almost every brew produced in and around London, and has handpicked eight of his favourites to share with you. He’ll be highlighting some of the best traditional and alternative styles of beer London has to offer.

We’ll be trying:

Fourpure – Pils Lager
Partizan – Lemon and Thyme Saison
Redchurch – Tartelette Urban Farm House
East London Brewing – Foundation Best Bitter
Kernel – Pale Ale
Beavertown – Lupuloid IPA
Gipsy Hill – Southpaw Amber
Hammerton – Pentonville Oyster Stout

About the host: As The Whisky Exchange blog’s resident geek, Billy Abbott writes and talks about all things boozy. Along with his whisky obsession, Billy is devoted to beer, and has spent the past 20 years drinking his way around London and its breweries. With years of experience, he’s got all your whisky and beer questions covered.
