The Sunday Times Wine Club Vintage Festival returns to Old Billingsgate, in the heart of London. A commemoration of four decades through a showcase of over 300 wines from the world’s most popular wine regions.
To mark the 40th anniversary, you can enjoy a range of Tasting Theatres – each providing an interactive demonstration into the world of wine. Firstly, The Sunday Times ‘Expert Traveler’ Tasting Theatre, hosted by Will Lyons, provides the perfect blend of wine and travel, offering an exclusive insider’s guide to top wine destinations and the all-important tips to sip in style across the globe. Another highlight includes pairing classes, chaired by Justin Howard Sneyd (Master of Wine) and artisan cheese mongers, Paxton & Whitfield, in The Cheese Academy Tasting Theatre. You can attend sessions to find the perfect cheese and rosé match or discover how to break traditional pairing rules.
Also new to this year and transforming your experience, is the scan-and-go app. The app will allow you to scan a programme or stall for top tipples which will then be delivered straight to your door after the festival.
You can upgrade your ticket, which gives you VIP access to the Fine Wine Room, where wine lovers will be able to taste wines from world renowned vineyards, whilst enjoying a fantastic bird’s-eye view of the entire festival.
Tickets includes a free tasting glass and unlimited samples. With over 300 wines and artisanal food from local suppliers, the anniversary event is not to be missed. Sip, enjoy and discover.
