In the luscious surroundings of the stunning Henrietta Bistro in Covent Garden, they will be undertaking a series of events that will push the boundaries of your senses, combining exquisite food with a multidisciplinary creative experience. Kicking off the six-part series, the first class will be dedicated to the inimitable Henri De Toulouse Lautrec, the unexpected chef! Most famous for his art, outrageous lifestyle and his not inconsiderable ability to consume Absinthe, few people know that Lautrec was a passionate and experimental chef!
Join them for this unique feast as they unravel the life and works (and cuisine) of one of Paris’ most celebrated artists, with a three-course menu based on Lautrec’s own posthumously published recipes created by the Henrietta Hotel’s head chef Sylvain Roucayrol. As you dine, creative interventions will punctuate the sumptuous meal, with drawing, art-historical tidbits, and absinthe tasters, giving guests the chance to fully immerse themselves in the great loves of this uniquely brilliant artist and chef.
