The popular Covent Garden-based drinking den has transformed into a magical Japanese-inspired illuminated oasis in celebration of the Winter Light Festival.

The collaboration, inspired by the riches of Japanese nature, will offer you the opportunity to embark on a journey through the senses including sight, taste and sound. As you approach the venue, you'll be met by a striking red Torii framing the entrance to Mr Fogg’s Tavern, with delicate hues of pink Japanese blossom adorning the exterior.

They will be serving up equally dazzling Japanese-inspired cocktails, made with Roku gin, Haku vodka and Toki whisky. Offering you two menus to choose from, Mr Fogg’s Tavern have created a menu themed around locations across the country including;

YAGOSHIMA - Suntory Roku gin, Bergamot Liqueur, Fermented Cucumber Juice, Sichuan Pepper Syrup, Egg White and Cherry Bitters 
OSAKA made using Suntory Haku Vodka, Coffee Bean-infused Alipús San Andrés Mezcal, homemade Jasmin Syrup and Coffee flavoured White Tea  
KYOTO - Suntory Toki Whisky, Elderflower Cordial, Lemon Juice and topped with Ginger Ale
KANPAI - Punch Cocktail for two or four people to share, with Suntory Roku Gin, Green Tea & HIbiscus Liqueur, Lavender Syrup, Pink Grapefruit Juice topped with Fentimans Oriental Yuzu Tonic Water

Guests who follow the lantern trail upstairs will be greeted by a stunning display before entering Mr Fogg's Gin Parlour. The cocktails, listed on illuminated Roku bottles filled with firefly fairy lights, will be named after Japanese festivals including;

KINGDOM OF LIGHT - Suntory Roku gin, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Kishinamien Umeshu Plum Sake and rhubarb bitters  
SHINJIRO’S SECRET - Suntory Roku gin, balsamic glaze blend, lime juice and sugar
HARVEST MOON - a heady mix of Suntory Roku gin, bergamot liqueur, green apple syrup, pomegranate juice and cherry bitters 

The food menu will take guests on a voyage through Japan, featuring oriental bar snacks such as Edamame Beans with Chilli and Garlic Salt, Chicken Gyozas served with a Soy Sauce and Tuna Sashimi Pizza topped with Wasabi Mayo, Pickled Shallots and truffle oil, all set to illuminate guests palates and complement the creative cocktail menu.
