A classic coffee liqueur, Tia Maria is a cunning combination of cane spirit, coffee, vanilla and sugar and has enjoyed worldwide success since its invention in Jamaica in the 1940s.


The moment that first drop of Tia Maria fell into the cocktail shaker back in the 1980s to make the first Vodka Espresso cocktail by Dick Bradsell (known now as an Espresso Martini) the love affair between coffee and alcohol was born. And this affair has only grown stronger over the decades. Coffee has such an exciting array of flavours to work with that bartenders are discovering newer and more exciting ways of bringing their coffee cocktails to life. Tia Maria is the perfect accompaniment to any coffee cocktail by drawing out the coffee notes and rounding them off. Simple as that. We use carefully selected aromatic varieties picked by our very own master blender. These are then roasted to perfection to create a blend that forms our unique coffee flavour. 
TASTE : Tia Maria is a sweet liqueur with a strong coffee character and a complex aromatic structure. There are three significant elements: Coffee: The distinctive trait which introduces the decisive notes. Jamaican Rum: The ingredient that gives body and structure and enriches the  aromatic profile. Madagascan Vanilla: The aroma that brings forth the Antilleperfume, gives softness and roundness, unites the flavours & provides persistency until the end of the liqueur.
